Selamat Hari Raya

Its raya tomorrow……..

Groceries are ready to be cooked, kuih is ready to be served, duit raya waiting to be given.

The colour theme this year is maroon.

The gals are only coming back in December (hopefully I get to hang with them)

Here I am hanging with Mummy and Yana (Alyssa is here… surprise!!! LOL) watching VMA just chilling.

Another year, another Raya.

It is as perfect as can be.

I am well, financially stable, with my love one….

Surrounded by family and friends that are coming on third Raya….

I should have no complains…. And I actually dun have any…. Just that I miss the gals.

Its normal, I always miss them most during these hours.

Anyways, I am grateful and thankful for what I do have.

Especially for having a special someone to share my joys with.

Well, just wanna say Selamat Hari Raya and Maaf Zahir Batin.

..................

Its always sad to see a mosque crumble.

No matter how good a reason there is to bring down a mosque, it is always accompanied by pain, bitterness and sorrow.

No matter how justified the actions are to demolish a mosque, there will always be tears of bystanders who don’t understand.

Its more painful when the tears are from innocents who needs the mosque.

The journey before is tough, its hard during, and after is no bed of roses.

Been there done that.

Don’t ever want to go thru it again.

Don’t wish for anyone to go thru it.

If ones mind is already made up, just make sure the support is there.

Family and friends are very important during the whole ordeal.

Being alone is a very, very bad idea.

I pray that Allah gives you the strength in times of weakness, wisdom in times of confusion and clarity in times of darkness.

You will never be alone if you will allow those that loves you to be there for you.

I will always be here for you.

Player

Here is a contradiction, be a responsible player!

I know lots of players.

Some are very good at it.

Some are just player wannabe.

Not gonna talk about wannabes, no matter how annoying they are.

It’s the players that are irresponsible that I wanna address here.

Especially players who are married.

You know you are married, you are not gonna leave your wife and kids, so what are your intentions?

Its purely physical with no strings attached.

Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am!

So why the fuck are you playing the martyr, dispensing advice on family issues!

If you have such good principles on family values, what the hell are you doing cheating on your wife?

You shut the fuck up when families are in distress.

And here is another thing….. if you cheat with a married woman, you have no say when your lover talks about her husband.

You have no fucking opinion when she is talking about her kids.

You have no rights!

You make her happy in bed, and you get to make her laugh.

That’s all you are…. A sex toy and a court jester.

There is no you in her future.

You are the flavour of the month, and you will be forgotten when the next guy comes around.

If you try to be more than what you cannot, you will open up a can of worms that you can never cover up.

So be a good little boy and run along.

Play your games, but don’t you dare be something that you are not.

You are not her husband.

You are not the father to her kids.

Are you gonna leave your family?

I don’t think so.

Don’t try to control your lover.

She will eventually move on.

You will go back to your family.

Peace out player!

Yummy.....

Today I buka puasa at Xan Yuen Restaurant in One World Hotel.

It’s the second time I took their Ramadhan Buffet.

I know its weird, a chinese restaurant offering breaking fast menu, but the food is yummy!

Here is what I ordered (the buffet is you can order anything you want)

Dim Sum… my favourite.

Steamed Siew Mai with Flying Fish Roe (Top Left Two), Steamed Crystal Prawn Dumpling (Bottom Left Two), Steamed Scallop Dumpling with Spinach (Right)

Steamed Mini Chicken ‘Char Siew’ Bun

Flaky Barbecue ‘Char Siew’ Pastry

Smoked Duck with Jelly Fish

Sautéed Star Grouper Fillet with Salted Egg Yolk

Egg Plant with Cuttle Fish, Shrimp, Bamboo Shoot and Wood Fungus in Spicy Chilli Sauce (Left), Mongolian Style Wok-Fried Lamb with Honey Sweet Pea, Black Mushroom, Sliced Onion and Black Pepper (Right)

Braised ‘Lo Hon’ Style Vegetable with Button Mushroom, Straw Mushroom, Young Corn, Carrot, Bean Sprout, Sweet Honey Pea and Snow Fungus

Some of you might be asking why I didn’t evaluate the dish individually… well, its coz its all good!

I am no food critic, all I know is that at the end of the meal, I am one very satisfied customer.

Hehehehe..

Btw, I can write down the precise names of the dishes because I took home the menu. =P

*wink*

Principles

What will you be remembered for when you leave this world?

That’s right people….. think about it!

You will be remembered for the way you led your life.

Your principles.

Your outlook on life.

The way you treated the people around you.

Who died and make me King of principles?

I know lots of people who will snicker that I am talking about principles.

They are probably the ones that I have cut off from my life.

I have a simple outlook in life.

Do onto others the way you want to be treated.

Blunt honesty even if it hurts to hell.

I believe that only by having in your face, fuck you, I don’t care about your feelings honesty can one be a better person.

I could be wrong because lots hate my straight talk, but I am not going to beat around the bush if I see you wasting your life away.

I know…. I am a bastard and a perv, but hey…. At least I am not a faker who tries to be something that I am not.

Why this topic today?

Its cause I just had dinner with my posse and I recognise strength when I see it.

My friend Shaffik just gave 24 hours notice after being treated badly by the management.

He had to pay the organization 2 months pay for leaving abruptly.

He is not a rich person but he had to make a point.

Injustice was done and he had to take action.

He walked out of his comfort zone and face the unknown.

That takes guts and strength.

He has my respect for doing that.

Normally, one would just bitch about how bad the management is but never do anything about it.

They chose to stay and complain instead of looking for opportunities elsewhere.

Shaffik chose the unknown, the new adventure, giving himself a brand new day.

He has my respect.

We never really got to work together and it would have been great if we did.

It is an honor for me to call him a friend.

Here’s to Shaffik and his new lease on life.

Cheers!

Lighting Up the Skies!

Time really flies….

In a week, that special day will be upon us again.

Thank God this year I have done all my shopping waaaayyyy in advance.

No more last minute shopping.

Today, some of my “goods” came.

Hehe…. Wat “goods” you say?

Raya is just not about duit raya or the food…

FIREWORKS!

Thats right folks, talking about literally burning your money.

Its my money, either I burn it in the skies or I will burn it at my mouth. LOL

Here is what I got…..

Mercun Bola

Looks like a ball but it packs a loud boom when it explodes.

Good for scaring unexpecting people.

Especially good for freaking out the chickens, ducks and turkeys.

Hahahahaahaha…..

Whistle Moon Traveler

Ahhh… a classic.

Really brings back memories when I was a kid.

Not good for scaring but has a cool whistling sound before a little boom.

KLCC ah?

Its called that coz it is a full display by itself.

If one has seen the fireworks display at KLCC, this is a mini replica.

Dun ask how much it cost me, but it will be so worth it.

I’ll try to record the whole fireworks to be uploaded later.

Peace Out!

Am I?

I have just been accused of being a closet gay! (Not that there is anything wrong with being gay)

Lets look at the signs that I “carry”.

I love to shop. (Borderline shopaholic)

I am very good at picking out ladies clothes, bags and shoes.

I know how to accessorise.

Women are very comfortable around me.

I am soft spoken. (Still confused with that as I am very loud)

I am into facials.

I am a good listener and am good at solving problems.

And most of all, I have no problem frenching a guy…..

Does that make me gay? (Not that there is anything wrong with being gay)

I love women….. all women!

I would say I am metrosexual.

There was a time in my life when I was tired of being in a relationship and pretended to be gay. (Not that there is anything wrong with being gay)

Strange but women find that a challenge and I was getting tons of women trying to convert me.

It was during this stage that I found out I am ok with kissing guys, but that was as far as I would go.

I definitely am not gay. (Not that there is anything wrong with being gay)

I have lots of gay friends and I do not judge, but its not my scene.

And I especially love gay women…. Hahahahaha

I would definitely be gay if I am a woman.

*wink*

Merdeka?

Merdeka?

Yesterday was Merdeka day, it came and it went.

I hardly noticed it.

This is sad as I love Merdeka days.

In school, I am always involved with the parade.

After 7 years of conditioning, its hard not to be excited.

But this year……

There were hardly any flags flying.

I know one should not place their patriotism based on the number of flags flown but….

I love my country, and I believe Malaysia is one of the best place to live in but I have a sense of foreboding.

I can feel that things will come to a boil.

What worries me is that what will happen when things boil over?

Revolution?

Anarchy?

I will not be an ostrich and keep my head in the sand, but I have to think about my family, my next generation.

Who will protect us?

The courts?

The police?

*sigh*

For now I just wanna celebrate my raya and see the smiling faces of my family.

Happy Merdeka…. Wherever you are!
