Trivia

Here is an interesting tidbit.

Open up a Microsoft Word document.

Then type in the name Halim.

Instantly the name will have a red line indicating that the name is spelled wrongly.

Right click it and it will tell you that the correct spelling is Halima.

Under normal circumstances this is nothing, but having a colleague named Halim who is always being mistaken for a woman...... (he gets letters stating Puan Halim and the receptionist cant tell the difference between him and a female co worker when he picks up the phone)

This is hilarious!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....

ROTFLMFAO!

My brother Halim, (camera shy) sharing is caring.

*wink*

Alone

I'm home.

Nothing beats being in your own place.

Sleeping in my own bed.

This is the first time I come home to an empty house.

My baby is in the East Coast.

She will only be back in 2 days.

Some guys might enjoy the freedom but I love being with my baby.

Already missing her a lot.

Will probably sleep thru the weekend to pass the time.

=P

Thank You, Samiliah

Tawau…. Its not just great food and beaches.

Its also the land of illegal immigrants.

It always tugs at my heart to see children at work.

At their age, they should be playing games or watching TV or being in school.

I see them normally at night working at restaurants.

Probably it is to avoid detection.

I can see that they are having fun with each other as they are usually not alone.

But yesterday, while having dinner at a hawker centre, I saw one that was walking alone from table to table hawking something in her basket.

She got a sad look on her face and everyone seems to be ignoring her when she approaches their table.

Shit! Her features are similar to Jazmeen.

I called her over and asked what she is selling.

It was dried ground nuts at RM1.50 per packet.

Her name is Samiliah and is 12 years old. (I asked)

Tried taking her picture but she said no and turned away.

Tried coaxing her but she still said no.

Her reaction was of a shy 12 year old.

Felt like a paedophile trying to persuade her to do something she don’t want to. (LOL)

Didn’t push her, I just took a packet and gave her RM10.00, telling her to keep the change.

Just like last night, my tears cant stop flowing.

All the HODs saw me crying and Ben told them its because I miss my children.

It was partly true.

Yes I do miss Jazmeen and Nadya, but I was crying because that sweet little kid should be at home at that time of hour (it was 10pm), not exposing herself to the dangers of society.

I wish I can do more.

She will probably have a tough life ahead of her.

Samiliah, thank you for reminding me how lucky I am, and how blessed my life is.

I just hope that Allah smiles on you and make your life easier as you grow older.

Big Prawns

Tawau…. Land of good food.

Grab a taxi from the Tawau airport.

Tell the driver Jalan Apas, 2 ½ Mile, indrustrial area.

There are lots of car workshops there.

The coffee shop is in the middle and the name is Kedai Kopi Wang Sin.

I know that it is nothing to look at, but trust me, the food is good.

Ask for Big Prawn Laksa. (Taste more like curry but who cares… its yummy)

The big bowl comes with the prawns spilling out.

Remove the prawns coz there is no way you can eat it with the noodles.

Ben (my ‘Tai Lo’) showing his big prawns.

Showing my fist to show the size of the prawns.

The price is only RM25.00 per bowl.

Its tasty and cheap.

Life cant get any better.

Tough Days Ahead

April’s schedule is out.

My whole month is full.

Every week the HODs are going somewhere.

Three weeks are dedicated to the south with Johor being the main concentration.

Its great, coz this would translate to Benny being successful in the near future.

Its tiring but it would be so worth it when we have a successful testimonial.

The downside would be I would not be able to travel with my baby.

I love travelling with her.

She is like my extended self, knowing that I can trust her to handle anything that I throw at her.

Of course it helps that she is fun to be with.

And the fun is tenfold when her partner in crime joins in the ride.

Will miss them a lot, will miss my baby even more.

April is going to be hectic.

Time for serious business.

Time to prove that Nanang has what it takes to be a major player.

Time for making some serious money.

*yawn*

I feel sleepy.

I just realised that when I am home, all I wanna do is sleep.

It helps that home is very comfortable.

I have a ton of dvds sitting on my player waiting to be watched.

Old stuff..... its old coz I never have the time to watch it. LOL

Example is Quantum of Solace. hahahaha

It doesnt help that when I travel I dun get enough to sleep.

Not that I am complaining.

Its fun travelling with HODs.

Now I am looking to buy more dvds to add to my pile of unwatched dvds.

Watchmen, Red Cliff 2, Confessions of a Shopaholic.... the list goes on.

I need to be more productive at home.

*yawn*

New Plans

New plans!!!!!!!!!!!

Initially, after talking to Ben, it would be better to shop in Bangkok and go to Pattaya for the beach.

So, the plan was to stay 2 nights in Pattaya and do the same for Bangkok.

Went to Matta Fair in PWTC just now and new plans were made.

On reflection, I am always looking at beaches, its better that this trip is all about shopping.

Found some great deals at the fair.

So, the final plans are 4D/3N starting on the 11th till 14th July.

Only Bangkok, nothing else and just gonna be shopping spree.

Have already paid the deposit.

No turning back.

Now to wait for 3 months.

Hehehehe.....

Local vs International

Planning to go to Phuket for my annivesary.

Actually I was torn between Sabah or international.

Well, since I have been travelling all over Malaysia, its only logical that I would want to go somewhere new.

So far the beaches in Malaysia are beautiful.

Lets see.... Pantai Irama, Pantai Mangkuk, Pantai Marang, Pantai Kuala Terengganu are so beautiful, it makes me proud to be a Malaysian.

The beaches are recogised internationally.

Beaches that are dissapointing are Teluk Cempedak, Pantai Cahaya Bulan (previously known as Pantai Cinta Berahi) Pantai Desaru and Pantai Mersing.

Anyways, after making a decision to go international it either Indonesia or Thailand.

I decided on Phuket as I love to shop and I heard the beaches there are nice.

Time to start comparing beaches.

*wink*

My First Time

Get your head out of the gutter!

I am talking about my first sunrise.

Have seen lots of sunsets but I finally saw my first sunrise.

Had to wake up at 630am to catch it.

It was so worth it.

It was beautiful.

Here is the what it looks like before the sun came.

And here... the sun is out, peeping out from between the clouds.

Walking to my hunny, to appreciate the scenery with her.

Sunrise or sunset?

Love them both.

Both are equally breathtaking.

Primula

Staying in Primula for the current KT trip.
Grand Continental sucks.
Entering the lobby..... memories came flooding back.
This is the place I stayed in for the first holiday I ever took with Nadya and Jazmeen.
It was the first time they ever took a flight.
Hmmm... gotta look for the holiday pics and scan them in.
Anyways, no time to dwell into past memories, its time to make new ones.
